2025 TNR and Certification Workshop Sponsorship

$200.00

Sponsoring an event will put your business or organization in front of hundreds of participants who are invested in creating a better world for animals.

This series is presented through a partnership with Neighborhood Cats and focuses on training beginners on how to trap community cats, find and access spay/neuter services, release cats appropriately, communicate effectively with the public, and develop TNR programs in their communities. Workshops have the option of taking a proficiency quiz to receive a course completion certificate. Plus, there are webinars to help advanced trappers to hone their skills and learn to use new equipment.

We believe that turning your passion for cats into action takes education and encouragement beyond the podcast. That’s why, since 2017, we’ve been organizing virtual conferences and workshops that are both affordable and convenient to attend – no travel required!

The TNR Education Series Presented by Neighborhood Cats focuses on training beginners how to trap community cats, find and access spay/neuter services, release cats appropriately, communicate effectively with the public, and develop TNR programs in their communities. Workshops have the option of taking a proficiency quiz to receive a course completion certificate. Plus, there are five additional webinars held throughout the year to help advanced trappers hone their skills and learn to use new equipment. Events are held 18 times per year.

In the Surrender Prevention Certification Presented by Dr. Rachel Geller we cover how to empathize with cat owners, work around their limitations (financial, time, patience), and focus on the 3 most common reasons for surrender: litter box problems, scratching (and not on the scratching post!) and interact aggression. Attendees are invited to take advantage of the interactive format, extensive handouts, and video footage of actual techniques and receive a certificate after passing a quiz. Events are held four times per year.

The Return to Home Certification Workshop Presented by Corinne Bourgoin focuses on getting lost cats back to their owners through a thoughtful, standardized process that has been proven to substantially improve return rates. Events are held four times per year.
