I had the opportunity to spend some time this weekend checking out Sandy Rees’s Fundraising TV program. Many of you know Sandy from her presentations at the 2018 Online Cat Conference and the 2019 Online Kitten Conference. I have also had Sandy on the Community Cats Podcast as a guest (Episodes 226 and 286). She ran a program called Arf Club that provided some incredible fundraising resources for small- to mid-sized nonprofits in the animal welfare field. Within the last year, she has merged Arf Club into Fundraising TV.

Sandy has a magical way of making fundraising seem easy to do and not overwhelming. She is the queen of bullet points and systems. She breaks everything down into small categories and short videos to help you be able to grow your fundraising efforts and have more time to help cats—and best of all, she guarantees you will feel less stress! I do believe that financial stress is one of the top issues in our animal welfare groups.

At this point in time, Fundraising TV has a waitlist for when Sandy opens the doors for more members, but in the meantime, it’s worth it just to sign up for her emails and blogs at her main site, Get Fully Funded.

If you end up joining the Fundraising TV program, you do have to pay a monthly or yearly fee, but you will get weekly videos, a Facebook support group, and so many downloadable resources and templates that you will easily be able to find whatever you need for that board meeting or grant application. Some sample topics you will see on Fundraising TV are: How to Calculate your Core Number (this is big with Sandy and you will see it many times), How to Create an Elevator Speech, and How to Create and Use Your Impact Goal.

Sandy also offers a periodic webinar called “The Fundraising Blueprint.” This is an intensive, two-hour program that covers some of the key components that you must have in a successful fundraising program.

In addition to Fundraising TV, Sandy’s team offers a program called the 360 Snapshot. I used this program with HubCats Chelsea (a very small group that I volunteer with). Leah from Sandy’s team and I spoke for about thirty minutes, and then she sent me a wonderful follow-up report with some great tips and ideas on how to proceed going forward with this group.

For me, one of the best parts of joining Fundraising TV is that the resources are all there in my dashboard. Whenever I want to jump in and learn or need to take action, the information is all right there. For instance, I will sometimes watch a webinar that isn’t pertinent to me at that particular time and so it sort leaves my memory. With Fundraising TV, however, you can tune in and binge-watch or review webinars you’ve seen at any time.

Give it a try—sign up for the Get Fully Funded email list and get on the Fundraising TV waiting list! Visit the Get Fully Funded website for all the details.
