“Often, people who are tolerant of the cats, not particularly cat lovers, they end up not wanting them around not because of the cats themselves but because of the people and the people not showing respect for the neighborhood, and the number one way people are disrespectful when they aren’t is by leaving all this trash behind them. So pick everything up, including the non-cat trash…an area is clean or not clean. When someone comes along, they’re not going to think, “Oh the feeder didn’t leave that bag of garbage.” They’re just going to think the place is a mess….we just pick up everything and be a good neighbor.”
